Chemin d'Amadour: stage 11 from Monségur to Duras

You leave Monségur via the rampart path and go down until you reach the Dropt. You follow the river for 600 m, to arrive opposite the D16. Turn right, follow this departmental road for 900 m to arrive in the village of Puy.

Turn left onto the D15 and after 600 m, turn right onto Chemin Brandin which will take you through fields. After 350 m, turn left onto Chemin Bel-Air for 1 km, turn left then immediately right and left again. You are on Chemin Godonet, follow it for 620 m until the D126.

Turn right on the D126, walk carefully on the shoulders which border the Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieurs vineyards of the village of Rimons for 1,8 km. Arriving at the intersection with the D16, turn right then the path 200 m on the left. After 800 m, you reach rue Jean Vaillant, which you take on the left to join the D127 at Saint-Ferme.

At this level, 100 m on the left, you will find the imposing abbey of Saint-Ferme, classified as a Historic Monument, which welcomed pilgrims from Compostela to care for them. To this day, it is still a stop on the pilgrimage. Admire the remarkable Romanesque capitals of the apse. Take the route again on the right on the D127 towards Duras. After 1,45 km, take Chemin Longs Sillons on the left, go around the property and its hangar and after 250 m turn left at the fork in the paths.

Follow this path which runs alongside the vineyards of Saint-Ferme for 725 m, then turn right to immediately go around the left and behind the property. Following this path for 725 m, you arrive on the D15, turn left, then immediately right onto Chemin de la Chadelle. You pass a small pond and at 1,25 km you pass next to Château Faurie in Dieulivol. These are the last kilometers in Gironde.

You enter the Lot-et-Garonne department. At Château Faurie, turn left and follow the road which will turn into a path for 2,6 km until you reach the D312, which you cross to follow opposite. You pass the Les Hauts de Riquets estate in Baleyssagues and turn immediately right. At 190 m, take the right path between the vineyards and follow it for 515 m to turn right.

At 265 m, turn left and go down the wooded path. After 1,8 km, you join the D134, turn left and immediately right. After 200 m, turn left onto the path which passes through fields. After 1,4 km, you arrive on the D668, turn left and walk on the shoulder to rue des Cavales. Go to the end of this street, then turn left and follow this road for 420 m until you reach the D668. Turn left then onto rue des Vignes du château on the right and finally onto route de l'Orangerie to reach the town of Duras.
