Discover the Saint-Emilion vineyard with the family! This short 7 km walk, made up of small paths and wooded areas, will suit everyone, adults and children alike!

Your itinerary

Step 1

Pass in front of the Maison des Vins and the southern gate of the collegiate church and turn left to walk along the ramparts and the Mallet dwelling (on your left) as far as the gate of Ch. Canon. Get off your bike and take the road in the wrong direction. Go along the wall.

Step 3

At the crossroads at Ch. Canon, turn right towards Ch. Beau-Séjour Bécot (direction “cemetery”).

Step 4

Leave the St-Martin church on your left and continue straight to follow the direction "Boucle de Mazérat" (hiking sign) by Coutet. Go past the entrance to Ch. Beau-Séjour Bécot and immediately turn right to take the small path indicated by the green beacons. Stay on the path until the small grove (ideal place for a picnic).

Step 5

Go along the trees to go to the end of the path and reach the small road (which leads to Ch. Coutet). Turn right and immediately left. Follow the direction of the sign "remarkable point of view at 450 m".

Take the 1st path on the right between the vines (Grand Mayne sign). Go along the Gallo-Roman furrows on the right.

Go around the grove on the right (following the green beacons) to find the small path that descends on the left. Continue your descent on this path to Ch. Franc Pourret and the D243 road.

Cross the D243 towards Ch. Ambe Tour Pourret and continue on this road until the next crossing (at the Ch. Côte de Baleau vineyards).

Step 9

At the intersection of Ch. Côte de Baleau, turn: - EITHER right to shorten the circuit and go to point n°13 (go to Ch. Fonroque) - OR left to continue the route.

Following the path on the left, follow the first green beacon and at the corner of Ch. Côte Baleau, turn right then continue straight to the road. Turn right again.

Following the path on the left, follow the first green beacon and at the corner of Ch. Côte Baleau, turn right then continue straight to the road. Turn right again.

At the first right after the building, continue to Ch. Laniote (on your right) and Ch. Fonroque.

Enter the Ch. Fonroque property and take the "Fonroque" path which crosses the property and continue straight on this same path, until the intersection with a small road punctuated by a well (structure like a stone boundary stone with a iron door).

Turn right and drive to the stop sign. Finally reach the village of Saint-Emilion by the D122 (on your right).
