Departing from the village of Sainte-Terre, from the Saint-Alexis church, this pleasant 6.4 km walk takes you on a stroll along the Dordogne.

Your itinerary

Step 1

With your back to the Saint-Alexis church, take the avenue du Général de Gaulle on your left to leave the village.

Step 2

At the fork, continue straight on rue du Parlement.

Step 3

Going down this street, you come out on a path. Take it and follow the Dordogne on your right. Along the way, you pass a charming wash house and discover a beautiful view of the river.

At the prohibition sign, continue straight ahead. Then the path slants to the left.

At the end of the path, at the intersection, turn left and continue straight until the next fork.

Take the deviating path on the left and continue straight ahead.

At the crossing of a place called Lormanet, continue straight ahead.

Stay on this main path which deviates to the left.

At the end of the path, you join a paved road (route de Challon). Turn right to reach Rue du Parlement, which will take you back to your starting point.
