Pedestrian loop: At the crossroads of appellations

At the car park opposite Ch. Boutisse, cross the road (watch out for traffic) then walk down the street opposite. Take the path on the left which passes behind the castle. Proceed through the vineyards to take the first path on the left. You then join the paved road.

Turn right for about 100 meters.

Cross the road to take the next road on the left. You are in a courtyard. Go to the right of the building and walk along the grassy path.

You arrive at a paved road. Cross it and follow the grassy path opposite which looks like a ditch. Walk between vines and trees straight ahead. Go around the ditch to the right (you pass between two green beacons).

Cross the paved road. Continue straight on the grassy path (green markers). Go down the slope to the small pond.

At road level, turn left until you see the sign “3.5 tonnes except deliveries”. Turn right just before the sign (green beacons) into the vineyard path. Continue straight along the vines to the road.

Cross the road (watch out for traffic). Continue opposite by the path along the trees on the left (green markers).

At the end of the plot, continue straight (green beacon). A sloping path leads you into a wood. Further on, you reach a sign indicating “Chemin des Leyques à la Mouleyre”.

Turn right up the paved road. You can admire a magnificent view of Saint-Genès-de-Castillon and Puisseguin.

At the next intersection, turn right. Continue to the right again towards “Côte de Mouleyre, Ch.Faugères, Ch. Mangot” (green beacon). Travel about 1 km on this paved road until you find a path on the left side (marked by a green arrow on a beacon).

Turn left into the vineyards. Continue on this path until you reach a tennis court. Pass in front of Ch. Mangot and continue on the road.

At the green beacon, turn right. You walk along the old charterhouse of Ch. Faugères.

Turn left into the courtyard of Ch. Faugères. Take the driveway on the right which takes you back to the road.

At the road, turn left. Take the first path on the right which leads to the modern cellar of Faugères on the hill. At the level of the cellar, turn left and continue for about 150m.

At the monumental cross, walk along the vine and pass to the right of the high voltage transformer station then go down to the road.

Back on the road, turn right to the entrance to the village of St-Étienne-de-Lisse. Continue to the church (in the direction of St-Laurent-des-Combes).

On the right, a few meters after the church, take the path that goes up along the trees.

Continue to climb by continuing to the left. Don't stop until you've reached the top of the hill.

Once at the top, your path continues opposite. Don't miss the magnificent viewpoint of the Croix de Tourans, located at the end of the grove on your left. Then retrace your steps to continue to the left between the vines (green-yellow markers).

Continuing straight, you arrive at a beige-colored cellar. Go past and continue straight. At the end of the path, turn right to reach your starting point.
