Coastal bird training: wintering bird weekend

In winter, the Arcachon basin is a site of international importance for welcoming waterbirds. During this training your base camp will be the Nature Center of the Arcachon Basin at the entrance to the Teich Ornithological Reserve. Accompanied by a naturalist facilitator from the Landes de Gascogne Regional Natural Park, you will progress at your own pace in the identification of waders and anatids and deepen your knowledge of the ecology of the species encountered. You will discover wintering seabirds during an outing in a sailboat, a traditional boat from the Arcachon basin.
