Vino Voce Festival – Concert – We’re dead, it’s time to laugh

As the title of this concert, borrowed from Boris Vian, suggests, it does not only invite us to lament the tragedy of death; it also invites us to explore, with Jean Ferrat (Alleluia), the pleasures of a village burial, most of which takes place at the café counter, the setbacks of a surrealist succession with Charles Trenet (L'Héritage infernal), or even, and this particularly affects us today, the beneficial effects of a good epidemic, with Aristide Bruant (V'là l'choléra qu'arrive).

In short, he sings with enthusiasm, but also with emotion, the thousand and one ways of leaving this world: with fanfare or in all discretion.
Vincent Bouchot and Denis Chouillet perform with delight, delicacy and derision a repertoire that is as macabre as it is poetic.
