In the heart of the Libournais and a few kilometers from Saint-Emilion, the commune of Sainte-Terre presents itself as the capital of Bordeaux-style lamprey. A land of vineyards, you will also find the Vignobles Mouty tasting area there. During the XNUMXth century, marriages and acquisitions mean that today the Mouty family owns five châteaux in the Saint-Émilion and Pomerol appellations.
At the edge of the road, a long, classic-style stone building awaits you. Push the glass door opening onto an elegant porch and the visit can begin. You enter the cellar where, depending on the vintage, the wine is stored in temperature-controlled vats, aged in new barrels or in two-year-old oak barrels. Then savor the wines from the range in the tasting room. If you wish, then go to the vineyards of one of the Châteaux des Vignobles Mouty.
