Domaine de la Grave

15 km from Bordeaux in the direction of Libourne on the N89, the Domaine de la Grave is located a few steps from Planète Bordeaux in Beychac-et-Caillau, a good opportunity to discover the AOC Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur. Heirs to a long family tradition, this 20-hectare vineyard has belonged to the Roche family since 1876. Marie-Laure and David Roche welcome you to the picturesque setting of an XNUMXth century charterhouse, framed by two pavilions with roofs of slates.
After having explained to you the culture of the vine and the maturing of wine, they make you discover the "Museum of wine and cooperage", which takes you back to the past of the profession of winegrower: enter the cooperage workshop of great-grandfather with his old tools, and admire the original vat room and the traditional clay cellar.
