Château Pierrail awaits you on a rocky promontory 10 km from Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, a medieval bastide on the banks of the Dordogne. Bought in 1970 by the Demonchaux family, the property consists of a magnificent French garden and a park in the center of which sits a stone house with a perfectly balanced facade.
Built in the XNUMXth century on the ruins of a medieval castle by the Ségur family, Château Pierrail opens its doors to you for a guided tour by a wine professional. In the vinification and aging cellars, admire the enhancement of the barrels with the blond stone walls and the wooden framework. From the history of the estate to the winemaking process, including the typicality of the terroir, your guide answers all your questions before inviting you to a tasting of Château Pierrail wines.
