Chateau Pedesclaux

At the heart of the Pauillac appellation, stands a completely renovated freestone Bordeaux charterhouse.
A certain Urbain Pierre Pédesclaux, wine broker, settled there in 1810 and made this vineyard prosperous, classified as of 1855 as the fifth Grand Cru of the Médoc. Since 2003, the Château Pédesclaux has been open to the public, allowing you to discover a place steeped in history through various thematic visits.
If you choose the “Pédesclaux Sens Dessus Dessous” tour, you will discover local tales and legends as well as the technical aspects of working the vines and winemaking in the cellars. Do you prefer the “Ini-Sensation” workshop? Learn, in the tasting room which also serves as an exhibition space, to express sensations and emotions during the discovery of a wine.

Open from April to October, Monday to Saturday, 09 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 14 p.m. to 18 p.m.
From November to March, Monday to Friday from 09 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 17:30 p.m.
Closed on public holidays, for greengrocers and between Christmas and New Year's Eve.
