Located on the Haut Barsac plateau about thirty kilometers from Bordeaux towards Toulouse, Château Liot is a wine property which has belonged to the David family for several generations. Today, Jerry David presides over the destiny of the Liot and Saint-Jean-des-Graves vineyards, a set of 40 hectares of vines in the communes of Barsac and Pujols-sur-Ciron.
During your visit to the cellars of Château Liot, he presents the different characteristics that make Barsac-Sauternes wines so typical: clay-limestone soil near the Ciron, manual harvesting in several sorts to keep only the grains noble, traditional vinification and aging in vats and barrels. Before leaving, all you have to do is taste a sample of Château Liot wines.
