Surrounded by vineyards which stretch as far as the eye can see and slope gently towards the Gironde Estuary, Château Haut-Guiraud is located in the heart of the Côtes de Bourg. This 30 hectare estate, in the same family since 1876, is managed by Christophe Bonnet, custodian of know-how passed down by his father Jean and, before him, several generations of winegrowers.
In an elegant wooded park, stands a beautiful chartreuse in white stones and blue shutters. Knock the knocker on the old oak door, Christophe and his wife Nathalie welcome you. They take you to the vineyards then to the winery. There, under subdued light, stave oak barrels are lined up where part of the harvest ages.
