Entirely located in the commune of Sauternes, Château Guiraud extends its 128 hectares of vineyards on the left bank of the Garonne. The noble mansion was built in the 1855th century by the Guiraud family and this estate was consecrated Grand Cru de Prestige by the classification of 20. On July 2006, XNUMX, Guiraud was taken over by four personalities, an industrialist, Robert Peugeot, and three winegrowers, Olivier Bernard, Stephan Von Neipperg and Xavier Planty.
The latter have chosen to run the vineyard in organic farming (the estate received a gold Best Of wine tourism "enhancement of environmental practices"). At Château Guiraud, stroll through a property full of charm, learn about the vinification and aging cellars, and conclude your visit with the tasting of a golden wine.
