At the eastern exit of Libourne on the road to Saint-Émilion, the Château du Tailhas is a vast classical-style residence which is distinguished by its central tower surmounted by a steeply pitched roof. In one piece, the 11-hectare vineyard is located on the southern slope of the Pomerol plateau, bordering to the east of the commune of Saint-Émilion.
During the visit, discover the particularities of the Pomerol produced at Château du Tailhas. The harvest is done by hand. Vinification is carried out using modern techniques: at the end of vatting, the wine is aged alternately in stainless steel vats and in new oak barrels. When you leave the cellars, a commented tasting is offered.
