Between Loupiac and Sainte-Croix-du-Mont, towns renowned for their sweet wines, the medieval ruins of the Château du Cros stand on a rocky peak overlooking the Garonne valley, just behind the classic-style roadside residence. This domain of 100 hectares in one piece is divided between 40 hectares of woods and 60 hectares of vines, including a plot of one hectare more than a century old.
Throughout the year, the Boyer family makes you discover this domain whose history begins in 1196, when Richard Coeur de Lion gives a fiefdom, the Domaine du Cros, to Mr. Boson de Casau. Enter the barrel cellars then, in the new tasting room, discover the AOC Loupiac and Bordeaux wines from Château du Cros, offered for sale on site. This tasting can be preceded by a walk between the Château du Cros and the old medieval castle.
