About ten kilometers from Saint-Émilion, halfway between Puisseguin and Lussac, the Château de Roques is at the same time one of the jewels of the region's heritage, a wine estate, a holiday resort and a renowned table. . It takes its name from its history: on February 28, 1590, King Henri IV ceded the Château de Roques “in perpetuity” to his squire, Jehan de Rocques, for services rendered to the crown.
From the 2000th century to the present day, this imposing estate, whose main building was transformed into a hotel in the early 7s, reveals its secrets to you, such as this old vaulted kitchen that has become a dining room or this impressive monolithic cellar XNUMX meters deep. Are you under the spell of this place steeped in history? Joseph Henry Sublett and his staff invite you to try one of the four-poster beds at the Hostellerie de Roques.
