The Berglund family purchased Château Carsin in 1990. Our cellar and the majority of our vines are in the town of Rions.
Today we make our wine with less technology and we focus on the characteristics of our soils as well as the authenticity of our vineyard to obtain the best.
We have therefore adopted more traditional and conservative practices in the way we produce our wine, for example working habits following the rhythm of the moon and the stars.
We also work at the root of our wines by planting historic Bordeaux grape varieties such as Sauvignon Gris, Malbec, Carménère and Petit Verdot in our vineyard.
Of course, we also grow more typical varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon.
