In Saint-Etienne-de-Lisse, Château Bernateau is an 18-hectare vineyard in the heart of the Saint-Émilion terroir. In 2003, Régis Lavau passed the torch to the youngest of his sons, Pierrick, who was finishing his studies in oenology. While respecting a know-how inherited for eight generations, he decided to gradually convert the estate to organic viticulture.
This passionate young winegrower comes to meet you as soon as you have crossed the gates of this beautiful wine estate with its classic Bordeaux architecture.
