The Maison de la Poterie, created around the remains of a 200th century pottery kiln, highlights the exceptional cultural heritage of Sadirac; it consists of a museum dedicated to ceramics and creative workshops. The museum exhibits a permanent collection rich in 1930 ceramics from archaeological excavations as well as videos presenting the gestures of turning. You will discover an interactive panel allowing you to visualize the location of the workshops and potter's kilns in operation according to the periods, the reconstruction of a XNUMXth century spinning wheel and a pedal wheel from the XNUMXs. The contemporary space of the museum hosts numerous temporary exhibitions dedicated to contemporary ceramics. Ceramic workshops and courses are offered throughout the year.

Opening
Exceptional opening on Sundays from 14 p.m. to 18 p.m. during occasional exhibitions (permanence ensured by AGAP). Closing of the Maison de la Poterie on the 1st Saturday of the month and on public holidays.
