This mill, built in 1730 by the Célestins monks, was in ruins when it was acquired in 1997 by the commune of Verdelais. Completely restored at the initiative of the “Moulin de Cussol” association, it is in working order. It is located a few hundred meters from the Malagar estate, owned by François Mauriac. From this site, a wide panorama opens onto the Garonne valley, the Sauternes vineyards, the Gironde Landes and, when certain conditions are met, you can distinguish the Pyrenees chain.
