This museum is dedicated to the Cordouan lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in France still in operation and listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Through five exhibition rooms, discover the evolution of navigation techniques and equipment used to ensure the safety of navigators in one of the largest estuaries in Europe.
The exhibition rooms house an impressive collection of lighthouse models, as well as authentic equipment used for their maintenance and navigation.
