The former lignite quarries of Hostens today form a natural area of 600 ha of lakes and forest. Property of the Departmental Council of the Gironde, this space is equipped for the discovery of the environment and the practice of leisure activities in the great outdoors.
Fishing, supervised swimming at Lake Lamothe, nautical base (canoeing, pedal boats), mountain biking - 3 marked circuits, marked hiking trails departing from the base, orientation, archery, climbing, stand up paddle, mini golf, tennis. Some of these activities are offered with support.
