The Bois de la Pimpine is a site on the hillside. It covers old underground quarries, some entrances of which are still visible, and overlooks a large pond located below.
This site offers ideal conditions for bats: insect ponds for abundant food, trees and underground quarries as natural shelters.
It is accessible by the Roger Lapébie Trail facing the Etang des Sources in Cénac (40 minutes by bike from the Pont de Pierre in Bordeaux).
