Lake Lacanau, with an area of 20 km², is fed by small rivers draining the Médoc. The northern part of the lake is dominated by the Moutchic district which is home to a long and beautiful beach. The west bank offers varied scenery with the vast wild spaces of Longarisse which extend to the Pointe du Bernos. A wide marked trail allows you to discover one of the wildest parts of the lake in peace. From Longarisse, this path meanders between the waters of the lake, where reeds and water lilies alternate, and high wooded dunes from which the lake can be seen. Islands form a privileged habitat for fauna and flora.
